Nephilim: Prisoner
I slept in like a champion today, until almost noon! That hasn’t happened in a very long time. It felt good. I apparently really needed it!
My day was spent mostly catching up on the writing that I owe (which I didn’t – I still have a little over 6 hours to make up) and cranking out Nephilim’s second book (Prisoner), which I have over 2,000 words for already. Until I get all my Beta Readers opinions, I can’t send the first (Daybreak) to my editor, so I figured I might as well put my creative energy somewhere. At this point, I don’t even have a cover for the damn thing, but the entire story is already heavily outlined, so it shouldn’t take as long as the first one did.
It is a lot bigger than the first, however, and definitely a lot sexier…
I did yank Anne over and we watched a few episodes of Veronica Mars while we ate pizza and over-buttered popcorn (my brother apparently thinks buttering popcorn consists of making it float in the stuff). It was a fun break, and it even gave me a few ideas for Nephilim. I’m having a lot of fun with this series. Hopefully, you guys will be able to tell.
Anyway, I’m about to shower and watch one more episode of Veronica Mars before I head to bed and try to reclaim my sleep schedule, so…
