Moving On

So I woke up this morning to the smell of pancakes. As I floated out of bed and drifted towards the kitchen, all the events of yesterday came flooding into my mind. Luckily I reached the kitchen before I went into full emo mode.

My brother, who rarely cooks (he’s one of those I’m happy with peanut butter sandwiches type of people), was actually making me breakfast. He even made me Ambrosia. He’s never done that before. And it tasted good!

He knows about the breakup, of course, and he was doing his damnedest to make me feel better about it all. And he succeeded. It started my day out on a positive note, which made it so much easier to deal with.

As the day drug on, though, things became a bit stickier.

I decided to keep my mind off the breakup by throwing myself into my work, and as a result completely finished Programming Sophia! I sent it off to my homie who’s going to beta read it for me, then started writing the next episode of Voyeur. After I burned out on that, it was on to anime (my current love: Motto To Love – Ru) and then reading a new series, Christine Feehan’s Carpathian series. So far the first book, Dark Prince (Author’s Cut Special Edition) is fucking amazing. Loves it.

On a personal note: thank you to everyone who sent me virtual hugs and support. It is more appreciated than you know. Rebecca is not a bad person by any means, she…just isn’t the person for me. Maybe down the road, we can be friends, I dunno.

Tomorrow’s plan: beast mode on Voyeur.

Until then, I am
