When I first started writing this Diary, I envisioned it as a way to release my leftover creative energies and to let you guys know what was going on in my life on a day to day basis. It was a lot of fun, though at times my entries were comprised of little more than woke up, wrote, went to work, spider monkeyed my brother, went to sleep. At times I even bored myself. When you think about it, life on a daily basis is fairly mundane and normal – even for me.
Lately it’s been exactly that, and with (bill-paying) work restarting on a full-time basis this coming week and my writing/family/relationship/social media juggling getting a bit hectic, I had to take a long hard look at how I spent my time and what would produce the maximum output for everything I’m trying to do.
First and foremost, my writing.
Which is why this is the last Diary entry I will write. Soon I’ll have my web dude take the Diary section out altogether and focus all my life updates into my monthly newsletter, which has a section dedicated just to my personal life. Coupled with how much I post on social media, you guys won’t be missing anything, trust me. 😃
So this is goodbye. In a sense.
I love you all, and this Diary experiment has been fun, but it’s time to move on. So, needless to say, if you haven’t subscribed to my newsletter, please do so.
I’ll see you there…
