Well. About today. Where to start…
I woke up late, completely missing my writing time this morning (I stayed up late last night with Rebecca and…talked…), then took Anne to the store when I got home to get groceries/new bandages for her burnt hand. Afterwards, I rewarded my Beta Reader Hit Squad for smashing Amore while sending my romance book (under a pen name) to my beta readers/editor for similar smashing. After I spent about an hour cleaning up the grammar and formatting.
And then my beloved writing headphones that I bought a few months ago completely died! For no reason. Like, just went off and refused to turn back on. I reached out to the seller and am awaiting a response. They have really good reviews on Amazon, so I think this is just an isolated case.
I really love those headphones!
I still have a few author tasks to wrap up before the end of the day, but after that: Lucifer with the brother unit and some Witcher Enhanced Edition time for myself.
Hopefully, tomorrow won’t be this chaotic, and I’ll be up bright and early writing like normal. I have to admit, however, chaotic days like this are fun. Seriously. It’s interesting seeing what Life throws at you, and figuring out the best way to solve each dilemma as efficiently and cleanly as possible.
To me, it’s a game.
I’ve heard other people stress out about things like that. 😀
Anyway, I’m off.
I love you all.
And thanks for reading. 😊
“When you see a person, do you just concentrate on their looks? It’s just a first impression. Then there’s someone who doesn’t catch your eye immediately, but you talk to them and they become the most beautiful thing in the world. The greatest actors aren’t what you would call beautiful sex symbols.”
