I don’t do drugs. Well, I drink on the weekends, but I don’t really consider alcohol a drug – it’s more of a health drink. Like V8 or Gatorade.
Because I don’t do drugs, when I take (am force fed) something like Nyquil, it hits me hard. Not only did I go to sleep almost instantly last night, but half the day today I had this weird sluggish/buzzed feeling. Which means I spent most of the day wobbling over to my laptop, writing, and wobbling back to my bed and recovering so I can do it all over again.
I wanted to drink coffee, but the snitch Natalie wouldn’t let me, saying that was one of the worst things I could drink. Instead, she kept shoving water bottles in my face. Since I couldn’t drink any coffee, I decided to try and be slick and put coffee in my oil diffuser. That did not end well. At all. I’ll be cleaning that sucker out for the next two days…
In case you can’t tell, I was hell-bent on getting things done.
I wish I could say the same about the post office. My new headphones were supposed to be here today, but there was some sort of delay, so now they’ll be here tomorrow instead. I can’t wait to get my hands on them. I’ve read everything I could about their features, even watched videos owners uploaded. I’m already in love with them, and patience has never been one of my strong suits, so I’m going crazy refreshing the tracking page hoping something changed.
I’m going to see what else I can get into before fatigue sets in again. Until tomorrow…
“Just as we reject racism, sexism, ageism, and heterosexism, we reject speciesism. The species of a sentient being is no more reason to deny the protection of this basic right than race, sex, age, or sexual orientation is a reason to deny membership in the human moral community to other humans.”
