Skyrim, Super Mario Odyssey, and being a lousy author

Dear Diary,

I’ve been a lousy author today. I spent the entire day with Anne (lately we’ve been kind of attached at the hip) and watched the movie A Girl Like Grace, which I became entirely drawn into even though I had some serious misgivings about it at first. See, I’m not a big Raven Symone fan, so when I saw that she was one of the main characters I kind of started to do other things.

However:

  1. The girl acted her ass off in that movie.
  2. She actually played the antagonist, something I wasn’t expecting.

I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up liking the movie way more than I thought I would. I even identified with Grace (the main character) a bit. If you watch it and know anything about me, you’ll probably see why reasonably quickly.

Anyway, after the movie Anne and I brainstormed on how we were going to celebrate our Valentine’s Day together. Yes, Rebecca and I will be doing our own little thing that night, but Anne’s single and I’m not about to let her Valentine’s Day suck… so I decided to spend most of the day with her today and tomorrow too. We initially planned on going somewhere, but her electric wheelchair can’t get wet, and the forecast sucks, so we decided to order in instead.

However, when we were trying to figure out what restaurant to order from, we realized that fast food seemed utterly unappealing.

So, I decided to treat us instead. I splurged a little and bought Anne Skyrim for her PS4 (a game she has been severely eyeing for a while now), then got myself Super Mario Odyssey for my Nintendo Switch. We both spent most of the day playing our games, doing very little else.

I didn’t even write that much.

Which is why I said I was a lousy author today.

Hell, Anne was even a better author than me: she worked on her short story some (which I’ll be editing for her) and gave me several ideas for another book I’m working on under a pen name. How quickly the student surpasses the teacher. 😀

Anyway, I’m off to…uh…do author stuff…

I`ll take your word on the movie. For me, i`m not doing anything for the day probably write more. That’s good that you are a true friend to Anne, sweetie and giving her the chance to play Skyrim on her own! You`re still the best writer in the bunch! 😃😘

Yeah, Anne’s stuck with me, and she knows it. 😁 Tomorrow: writing like my life depends on it! And thank you for the compliment, it means a lot to me. I try hard to create interesting, unique, and genuinely erotic stories – as opposed to just throwing a bunch of dirty words on a page and publishing it. It takes a lot longer, but I think the end result is worth it. It’s nice to know other people think so as well. Again: thanks. 😍
