Mya
Today has not been productive for me. Last night I forced myself into bed looking forward to waking up and attacking the day, but this morning I woke up feeling like I needed to sleep for two more hours. I wanted so badly to get a ton of writing done, but I didn’t feel the creative spark I usually do, so I didn’t.
Instead, I started outlining my next novel, Mya. Here’s a rough draft of the synopsis:
In this gripping erotic drama set in earth’s far distant past, you’ll meet the enigmatic Mya, who has been gifted with not only the ability to preternaturally heal but also to hunt with uncanny instincts. She was the undisputed pride of her people…
…until her people were all but eradicated.
The land, always predictable and bountiful, began to change, becoming a far harsher climate than it had ever been before, and spawning increasingly deadly creatures with alarming rapidity.
While only a handful of her people still live, even more dangers and mysteries begin to crowd in around them – and her close-knit tribe begins to be torn apart by an internal physical and spiritual war that can only end one way: with Mya becoming leader of her people-
-or her death…
I still have a lot of cleaning up to do with that synopsis, I know, but that’s the gist of it.
Hopefully tomorrow I’ll feel that Voyeur spark again…
