World War Z

It’s no secret to anyone who follows me on social media or is friends with me on my Nintendo Switch account (Switch Friend Code: SW-1737-8345-2501) how much I love the World War Z video game. What may be a secret is that a few days ago, I had never watched the movie the game was based on – in fact, the only thing I knew about the film was that Brad Pitt was in it. I didn’t know anything about the plot or even what the zombies were like.
But I’m a zombie freak, you see. I adore games where you kill them, which probably explains why Resident Evil is my favorite action franchise (I know, they aren’t technically zombies, but close enough). I also love Call of Duty: Black Ops, though I only play the zombie mode.
I don’t know why it took me so long to watch this movie, but when I finally did, I LOVED IT!
As I watched the movie, I could easily see all the things the game ripped, and it made me want to play the game even more – which I did immediately after, slaughtering level after level in a burst of vigor.
There was only one thing I didn’t like about the movie: how it never really explained anything. I love to know WHY something is happening. This is also one of the things that frustrates me about The Walking Dead series.
Other than that? It was a highly entertaining movie; I’m confident that anyone who loves zombie flicks will also love World War Z. And the video game. Gotta play the video game! 😄
