Reality TV…and Rebecca Farts!

You ever wonder what the fascination with reality TV is? I mean, seriously: everyone knows most of it is scripted and/or manipulated. Kind of like the wrestling. So why is it so popular? My brother says reality TV is lower than kids cartoons, but without the usual educational value. And see, I would agree, except for the fact that I love watching reality television! It’s fun to get all wrapped up in the drama and yell at the TV, especially when you have someone else near you that loves watching them too. Rebecca thinks they’re OK, but Anne and Natalie are just as fanatical about them as I am. There have been several times where I was supposed to be writing and Anne and Natalie were watching something like The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Anne’s Wii and I found myself right by their side yelling at it with them. It devolves into one big estrogen-fest.

And the worse part it, I know it’s stupid while I’m doing it, but I do it anyway!

Oh! And Rebecca! She came and visited me today, and instead of having a freak fest like I planned we ended up cuddling on the couch and watching NetFlix together. She went into the kitchen to get some Orange Juice (yes, I capitalized it. Orange Juice is a huge thing to me. It deserves to be capitalized!) and I decided to hop up and join her to get a glass of my own (instead of yelling across the house and waking up my besties dog).

As I walked in SHE FARTED!

It wasn’t a big one, mind you, but a little dainty toot – but it completely shattered my perception of her! I, up until that point, have never heard of her having any bodily functions! I don’t even know if the bitch has periods! But now! Now! She’s gonna hate me when she reads this, but it’s just so funny to me. She takes such huge pains to not have a body function around anyone that it’s almost inhuman. You should have seen her face when I walked into the kitchen right as she let one rip. She was mortified. I honestly thought she was going to pass out.

Good stuff. I damn near did pass out from laughing so hard. 😀

Anyway, considering I’m coming off a 5-hour writing binge, my brain feels like mush, so it’s off to bed for me.
