I swear I am never turning my phone off overnight again! When I woke up this morning I absent-mindedly turned my phone on (like I do every morning) and began getting ready for work. It chimed about a dozen notifications like it usually does. No biggie. And then Rebecca tells me I have a voicemail.

I told her to go ahead and listen to it.

It was one of the nurses informing me that my brother woke up around 3:30 this morning!

So, I called in “I don’t give a fuck” to work, snatched up the girlfriend unit and went to the hospital. As I write this, he’s sitting on the couch with Rebecca watching the news (he’s such a nerd).

Which is why this entry is going to be micro-short.

I have spider-monkeying to catch up on!

“Anyone who knows anything of history knows that great social changes are impossible without feminine upheaval. Social progress can be measured exactly by the social position of the fair sex, the ugly ones included.”

Great news!! So happy for you and your brother!! Spider-monkey his ass (gently for a day or two) then take a day to spoil the SHIT out of Rebecca for being such a good person!! 😜

Really, glad to hear things are better for your brother. Power of positive thoughts!! Good times ahead!!

You are so awesome and so right.

I’m not taking it easy on him though. I can’t seem to quit latching on to him. That I almost lost him…just thinking about it gives me the feels. It definitely makes you appreciate EVERYTHING about someone when they are almost taken away from you.

      That goes for Rebecca, too!

Hi Alexa, WOW! WHAT GREAT NEWS! THIS MADE OUR SATURDAY!! Tell him Randi and I are very happy for all of you. And now I expect to see you AND REBECCA at our door in San Francisco one of these days. Forget the “Face Sitter” … although it was pretty hot picturing the whole scene. LOL

I’m so glad I can kid again with you.
